It's the best South Korean women's university.  A friend of mine did her undergraduate work there.  (She's now a professor at a top seminary in the US.)

What would you like to know?   I think I could put you in touch with her if that might help.

They are hiring more that70 professors (which makes me wonder about turnover).  The window is for about a week next month to apply, and the application process is like nothing I’ve ever seen
http://home.ewha.ac.kr/~faculty/gui_eng.html ) .  I can’t find what professors are there on their website.  I was wondering about the usual (research requirements, teaching load, tenure expectations, pay, etc)---specifically the business school.  Any advice or direction would be great.

I wouldn't be concerned about the number of hires.  Ewha is large, and the hires are spread out over all colleges and departments.  In good years, my former employer, a US state U of the same size as Ewha, hired around 50-70 new faculty too.

My friend never worked there, so I doubt she could be helpful with your other questions.  Sorry!

It's a well-regarded woman's university in Seoul, located near Yonsei and Sogang University, two other prestigious schools. The school has a reputation for educating potential marriage partners for male students who attend the country's top schools.

It's located in a nice area, just down the street from Shinchon. If you're young and enjoy the bustling city it might be a good fit for you...

it is a reputable university. I lived there. HOwever, the applicaiton process is very convoluted and likely geared towards locals.
