Hi, all

I'm an external at UEA next week and have to travel on Sunday to get there in time. I'm hoping one of my buddies from the department will be free for a couple of pints (and maybe a bite to eat) but if not - any ideas?

Cheers

I've had a few nice meals in Norwich - it's better than you might expect. This might help:

I've been to the Library & St Benedicts and both were fine. There was a surprisingly good Lebanese restaurant too but can't remember the name - on a shopping street perhaps upstairs... There's a few decent gourmet pub type places in the city centre too.

The Bella Italia in Norwich was good.  If I were back there again, I'd have to try The Parson Woodforde pub, but that's more because of how important its namesake was to my research!

This place stinks like a pair of armoured trousers after the Hundred Years' War.

Find your way to the Belgian Monk, in the twee part of town centre.
