Would you take a pay cut for two TT positions?

Or for one TT and one tenured? Or one TT and a permanent research position in an institute/center? Of course the cost of living is much less at the second place compared to the original place where one person has a tenured position and ther other had a soft money position.

Our Faculty has compensation as first priority. TT lines are secondary.
I would like more TT lines with no cuts.
