You are quite the hardy soul! It is beautiful here, but the temp is only around 12C. I didn't bring a coat today, and did feel the bite on the way from the car to the office. It's lovely to see the sun though...I did wear flip flops on Monday to celebrate it.

Yeah... wore the crops to Tesco and froooooze my tootsies off! Not outside but in the freakin' store!

The cats and I are sunning ourselves on the deck.

I volunteer with a couple of girls who work in Sainsbury's. I think the stores are kept deliberately cold so shoppers don't have to take off their coats/they don't have to turn down the fridges quite so much/the fresh produce stays fresh.

I have my window open and my blind closed against the sun, but that's been the case for several weeks now, plus the radiator is off. I can confidently predict that come April, they will turn off the heating, and the ambient temperature of the office will drop, and I will freeze.

On the bright side, I am considering taking a train ride and hiking along the coast, while I am on strike tomorrow. It is definitely sunny.

Lovely here as well. I and many of my colleagues ate lunch outside in the sun.

I haven't been outside today except to rush between teaching and meetings and more meetings. I don't remember it being particularly sunny, but this may have more to do with my day than with the weather. Will the holidays never come........

We had a Health and Safety audit this afternoon.

I needed my lunch in the sun!

That is definitely heading towards being as bad as my day.

Fortunately we nailed it. But the preparation was a lot of work!

Me too! 60 more bulbs and clematis to plant this weekend.

I am itching to sow seeds but not sure if we've reached the last frost date.

I spent my strike day walking by the seaside - about 60 miles away as the crow flies but 2 1/2 hours on the train. Very pretty train journey though and I was happy with my Kindle, and gorgeous, Mediterranean blue sea.

Met Office are muttering about ground frost next week.

Unfortunately, I'm not certain I have enough cloches to cover the broad beans.

No way am I going to plant anything that's extremely tender in March. We've got about 3-4 weeks before it's safe to put out bedding plants (other than pansies).

We lost so many plants this winter. I did go to B&Q and get another bay tree (we've lost the bay for the past two years!) and a couple of other pot trees to replace what we lost when it stayed at -16 for two weeks!
