I'm certain because my nose has begun to itch in a fashion that clearly indicates early Spring allergies.

Will be cutting the grass later and, just possibly, enjoying a beer in the sun afterwards.

When I checked the temperature outside earlier this morning, it was -1.

Pessimists!

There's not a cloud in the sky, the birds are singing, and the forecast high is 10+.

It's Spring.

Not a cloud in the sky I will give you -- but my patio chairs are *steaming* as the sun melts the frost on them!

Besides, the forecast is brought to you my the Met Office -- the people who also brought us "there will be no hurricane"  ;-)

Twas lovely here yesterday.... as long as you viewed the outside from the inside. When Hubby Bubba attemped to sit in the sun and sip an Ursus beer (a pressie from Romania) he discovered that it was just too COLD to sit outside!  *laugh*

And speaking of Spring....  since there's a thread in Meet and Greet about THE Royal Wedding, and I've re-discovered just how in love with royalty Americans are...

What are YOU going to be doing on the long holiday? Anyone got plans to leave the country April 22- May 3?

I'll be in meetings, teaching, meeting with students ... the usual.

We aren't suspending normal educational operations for the Royal Wedding.

Unlike the Charles-Diana shindig, however, anyone who really cares can watch it on streaming video via a number of different devices.

I am happy, though, that for the first time in years I'm not actually lecturing on either Good Friday or Easter Monday.

T'shirt in the sun day here.

Not sure about RW - have meeting in Germany the following week and may go early.

We got some planting done, harvested the first of the purple sprouting broccoli, and it was just warm enough to still sit out with a glass of wine at 5pm -- but only if you were wearing rather more than one layer ;-)

Royal wedding? I'm attempting to interest WH in a weekend in Trieste. Failing that, I may fall back on a trip to our friends (both good republicans ;-) who live outside Munich.

I'd love to be able to say, one weekend soon, bonjour trieste, yes?

It is definitely spring. The landscapers are back in my apartment complex. And I definitely heard a bee outside the kitchen window a few hours ago. Yay indeed.

Yep, it's Spring-like now... you know... the season when you can no longer throw a jacket over your bra-less t-shirted self to run to Tesco to pick up milk!

Sunny here and definitely warmer: though I am not making any claims for spring just yet in case the weather goods are listening in. As a concession, I am wearing a sleeveless pullover for the first time in the UK in 2011.

I will be travelling on the day of the RW: good of them to put it on the day before Dad's birthday!

The RW is the same day as our 5th wedding anniversary.  We'll be in Cornwall where we honeymooned.  It was a pleasant surprise to get the day off.

It is warmish but dull up here in the Northwest.

Although this is not strictly related to spring weather, did anyone see the moon a couple nights ago when it was in perigee?
