I thought this was fascinating and somewhat alarming from The Guardian at SWSX 2011.  The subheading is this:
Quote
Oliver Burkeman went to Texas to the South by Southwest
festival of film, music and technology, in search of the next big idea.
After three days he found it: the boundary between 'real life' and 'online'
has disappeared

"That's a great deal to make one word mean," Alice said in a thoughtful tone.
"When I make a word do a lot of work like that," said Humpty Dumpty, "I always pay it extra."

the Sudanese government set up a Facebook page calling for a protest against the Sudanese government, naming a specific time and place – then simply arrested those who showed up.

I was entertained by this though.
