I have an offer to KFUPM in Engineering

Hello,
I have received an offer to work as Assistant Professor at KFUPM with a salary of 15,000 SR/month plus transport and a non negotiable amount of 25,000 SR to cover for kids if you take them to foreign schools outside uni as they said.
Does this look okay? because I have heard that the university has many administrative problems, research is very chaotic due to lack of technicians and poor purchasing procedures?
Has any one a good knowledge of this university?
Thanks a lot.

If this is true, then no amount of salary will make up for it.

Hi Jross,
I have recently applied for Assistant Prof position (Eng) at KFUPM. Please let me know the followings based on your application/selection experience at KFUPM:
How long the application evaluation process goes before getting short listed?
Is there any sort of interview for such academic position such as on skype?
Did you already have any teaching experience before applying or you are a fresh PhD graduate?
Where did you earn your degree from?
I have PhD degree (fresh) and several publications in international journals. With this status, how much salary I can expect from KFUPM? By the way I am citizen of an Asian country (as salary also depends on nationality I heard in KFUPM).
Thanks
