It'll be interesting to see what happens:  The UK austerity program (I mean you had to expect the economy to shrink at least temporarily) or the US spend your way out plan.  I guess it is a wait and see game to find out who is right.  If the UK is right, it'll be pain up front, if the US is wrong, there will be pain at the end.
