I have an opportunity to go here for a couple of months starting in May, which I understand would be the dry season.  I don't like hot weather and can't stand humidity.  So it will be hot, so I need to know if other factors would outweigh.  Anybody been there?  Two months seems like it might be a bit much but it's that or nothing (it's a house sitting type of situation).

Isn't May and June winter in Mauritius?

The temperatures should be in the high 60s to high 70s F (20-26 C) in those months.
