Glad to hear the change in scenery helped you recharge a bit. Keep that in mind as you move forward: even a trip for work can be a break of sorts, so don't feel guilty going!

I found that going for a swim while I was writing my diss cleared my head and brought me to one point focus. Then I could work, and I didn't have a million buzzing thoughts. I was only on bedtime Trazadone then. Since going on Effexor, things have felt even better.

Something new in your life that isn't anxiety provoking but challenging and enjoyable can sometimes allow you to gain renewed perspective and interest. You mentioned a swim helped. Is there something you haven't done in a while? Have your test checked as well. You will overcome this as I truly believe all things pass. You wouldn't have gotten as far as you have if you weren't able to be so adaptive. I wish you well.
