Following up on Monsterx's post, I offer the following:

People reviewing postdoc apps are looking for some kind of assurance that you are able to do good research. This might consist of: 1) your reference from your advisor, if your advisor is well-known and his/her judgment is trusted; 2) the reputation of your program, if your program is known to produce good researchers; or 3) your own publication history.

Lacking any of those, I would estimate that your chances are very, very poor unless you get very, very lucky.

OP, check out the Newton International Fellowships.  They are specifically designed for non-UK based scholars who want to come to the UK for the first few years of their research careers.  They are looking for "world-class" scholars, however, so without publications you'll have to make a very good case that your research is world-class and that you soon will be publishing extensively.

I agree with others that most of the Oxbridge postdocs are extremely competitive.  Unless you find one specifically looking for someone who is doing what you are doing, I would say you are wasting your time.

On the other hand, non of the UK postdocs require applications fees, so I say AFTDJ.

Ugh, I just checked and the Newton fellowships only offer 24,000 pounds/year salary. (Approx $36K.) Based on that, OP might have quite a good chance, because a truly world class researcher might find that to be simply unaffordable. Along those same lines, there are quite a few different European postdocs that have a similarly terrible salary level, and if OP can afford to tough it out, these might also be options.

In a better economic climate that makes sense, but with the current state of the UK and much of Europe I imagine there are many a post doc on the market with lowered expectations.

I'm afraid you won't have a chance with your publication record as it now stands.  As you might imagine, most of the people in your position will have those same credentials.  The post-docs will go to the ones who really stand above the crowd.

Yes, echoing previous posters - I'm sorry but you don't have a chance. Pretty much every recent humanities PhD grad at Oxbridge (and those who have not finished but hope to be finished shortly) is applying for JRFs, and you need a much better publication record than you currently have in order to be competitive.

(Btw, I know plenty of JRFs who were not Oxbridge-trained, so I am saying this based on your publication record, not based on the fact that you are outside Oxbridge.)
