Testing, I just read the news.  I'm so, so very sorry; my condolences to you and your family.  The grief will come, when and where and as it will.  Like Infopri, it's been about a year and a half for me, too (Mom passed in July 2009).  I still haven't been back to the cemetery, only an hour from home.  I think I might be ready to go this weekend or next, though, to put Christmas flowers on the grave.  Take care of yourself, and do let us know what you need.  Peace to you, friend.

Confused and sad. Or happy. I'm not sure...

Testing, I'm sorry for your loss. And while I'm glad that your mother was able to dictate the final terms, it's so unfortunate it had to be now and under these circumstances.

Hugs and warm thoughts.

So very sorry Testing. I lost my Mom this summer, to cancer with Alzheimer's. She went surrounded by family and husband too. It's been hard since then, especially with some family tensions. And I miss her a lot just about every day. But I was so glad her suffering ended, and that gave me peace. I hope you get a measure of peace as well; it can carry you through the hard days.
