Had fun today: part of my route paralleled a local race, and it was great to see how happy people were as they approached the finish line. Very inspiring!

I'm waiting for it to get warmer. It has been in the teens for the past week, but it is supposed to be above freezing in a few more hours.

Sorry for the double post. Week 5 is done. I learned today rest days make a big difference. I had to walk an extra minute once to get all the runs in. I was sort of upset, but then I remembered a month ago, I could barely run a minute.

Wow, lohai0, that's awesome. All of it.

I did week 4 session 1 today, and toward the end as I wanted to stop, I thought there was no way I could have done this on January 12. Sore heels.

Good idea, thinking back on all you've accomplished!

I finished Week 5 Day 1 today.

Finished Week 5 Day 2 (the two 8-minute runs).  I was even able to ramp up the speed in the final minute of the second run.  However, I am still skeptical about successful completion of Day 3's 20-minute run.  Over the weekend, I had a dream that I ran to the mall.  When I looked at my HRM watch, it said that I had run for 55 minutes straight! Dream Me was so happy about it.  I hope that's a good omen.

Thanks again for all the support and encouragement.  Just wanted to report that I freakin' did it! I couldn't believe it.  Week 5 Day 3 complete.  I watched Grey's Anatomy and just decided to run as long as I could without looking at my watch.  When I checked, it had been 13 minutes already, so I figured the remaining 7 was a shorter run than each of the two runs I did on Wednesday... might as well keep at it.  I had a couple minor pains here and there, but I am just so happy.  I was concerned because I was up throughout the night with my heart pounding, going over some points I needed to make in the day o' budget negotiation meetings today, so I wasn't in great shape.  Anyway, hooray! I think the success helped with this morning's meetings.  Now we're on lunch break, and I'm about to go back for a few more hours.  Thanks again!!

Good work, Anakin and Lohai0!
