Ah, I'm surprised they didn't mention the EPA's recent decision to stop funding studies using human subjects to test pesticide toxicity. Apparently a lot of these studies were being done on college students who weren't being fully informed of the risks.

I know everyone loves to hate the IRB, but some of what passes for "research" is pretty appalling.
