For my online course I have PowerPoint slides with recorded narratives embedded with each individual slide. The student clicks on the little speaker icon and listens to a recording and, when finished, proceeds to the next slide.

Does anybody know if there is a way to fast forward those embedded recordings?

Did you ever get an answer to this?  the end of my narrations are all cut off so this would greatly help troubleshooting the problem - or at least listening to the whole thing!  Thanks - Jeff - Student at the University of Montana

I did not get an answer, but I'm fairly certain now that the answer is that you can't fast forward.  To address your problem:  Are you recording your PowerPoints on a Mac?  This is a known issue.  It appears like everything is working, but when you go back to listen to your recordings, they are randomly cut off.  You can PLAY the recordings on a Mac just fine, but you need to record them on a PC.
