Interview Experience

Hi all,
Recently I went to campus visit for a non TT, teaching position. Interview went well. I gave a teaching demo. Everyone appriciated for my presentation.
The SC chair tried to impress on me about the area and the city. One of the students told me that my presentation is the best. When speaking to Department chair, he also appriciated my presentation. He actually praised me in the lecture hall itself. He gave compliment that I made for teaching. Also he said that I have chances. When I was looking to the charts on the wall of the department, he came out and asked me to look at a chart of their courses. I pointed out for a particular course was missing in the list. He said "You can offer, when you come here." Is that a positive sign? please share your views.

It's a good sign, but it's no contract.
You never know who will come in after you and knock their socks off, and you never know what input the Dean and/or Provost (who didn't see your presentation) will have in the hiring decision.
But it is safe to say that you are a serious contender.
Good job, and good luck!

Thanks ZUZU.
I appriciate your thouhtfil response. But I would lik to let you knoe that I am the last candidate interviewed. The SC and department chair might have decided after my meeting with SC and presentation. Any guess?
