Can anybody tell me in what universities department of physics is located in college of engineering not college of science?

I believe OSU, Cornell, and UMASS do (to name  a few).
Ours is in Arts and Sciences and has proven to be a pretty good fit.

In this case, Google will probably answer your question more completely than this board - IMHO

Cornell has a Physics department in Arts and Sciences and an Applied and Engineering Physics department in engineering.

Are you sure you want that information? You can determine where a physics department is located or if they are hiring, but not both.

At UIUC (U of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), the primary affiliation is with the College of Engineering, although two slightly different undergraduate majors in physics are offered through Engineering and Liberal Arts and Sciences.

UMass - Dartmouth for one.

There are many Universities which have an engineering physics program in the COE.
