Statement of intention to take the job
«

A foreign university wanted a statement of real intentions to take the job from me, taking into consideration the costs and time involved in getting me there to interview.
It's my first time to write that, and I wrote 4~5 sentences back in an email and have never heard back. Does anyone know what is a typical good statement of intent like? Maybe I shall write to them again. Thanks!

That's bizarre. I'd be careful about accepting an invitation from them if one comes. You may be left holding the bag for the costs.
