Here's another question:  If one of the fellowship schools offers you a post, do you have to accept it?

If so, can you reject a fellowship *school* offer, take a TT job, defer that TT job for a year, live on the one-year version of the fellowship, and then start the TT job?

(Or is the fellowship not enough to live on for that intervening year?  And yes, I realize that this scenario requires that your school be willing to postpone your TT line for a year, and I realize that might be unlikely at a lot of places.)

For now, accept the fellowship, though.

The postdoc cannot be combined with a tt job, so essentially the question is: does this postdoc make a you a more attractive candidate to schools? And should you email them to say "Hey, I got this awesome award, but I really want your job!"?
