I do have to chime on the 'you will not win' thing. Frankly, you will just make it a matter of public record. JUST because the Uni has a record of your compliance does NOT mean that they shared said information with any unauthorized parties. On this point, I doubt that even a stupid contingency lawyer will take on the case because you have no evidence, and you have not suffered any definable loss.
I was concerned about the release, but at that point I didn't want to get expelled. My main concern is not about the release per se but the fact they mandated this in the first place with no good reason.
You should have had an attorney look at the thing first. You signed something under duress, but then went ahead and complied. You should not have complied THEN you MIGHT have a case. OTOH, you should think that maybe something you did/said might have given the Uni a reason to take the action they did.
Ok, I am done... no wait:
I can't believe you're making so much light of my situation. Most of you on this forum think you're so much than everyone else, mostly students as I can see with you talking about how ignorant they are, etc. I'm just hurt by all of this.
well if you do not like what is on the radio, turn the dial. I hear students disparaging instructors all the time. Instructors are like all other people: we are doing a job. It is our right to complain abou it.
