I think you're on to something here. We need a paper swap thread where we trade assignments to grade. If we each post our areas of content ignorance, we could get through the stacks very quickly.

Simple words that you know how to spell (and have known how to spell since your elementary days) look wrong when they are correct. I actually had to go look up "white," I had seen it spelled wrong so often.

when you want to throw things or worse, when your child (who usually doesn't have to listen to this) asks his daddy "why is Mommy getting mad?"
