This gem was hidden on the LHC:

Our dearest spork got married today!

Ah--I thought I remembered him asking about honeymoon destinations in the Caribbean a few months ago. But then when he joined a discussion on holidays alone I was afraid to ask, in case something had gone horribly wrong with the engagement.

So, Spork--married! What does this portend for thong reports here on the Fora?

I predict that Spork will continue, unabated, in his ... special... contributions.

But congratulations, my very good friend.  Spork is one of the best guys I've ever met (and I HAVE met him, actually!), and the new Mrs. Dr. Spork is a lucky woman.

I believe she is keeping her birth name, and she will be known as Knispoon rather than Mrs. Spork.

Happy wedding to the Sporks!  May you have a long and joyous marriage...

But with both John Proctor and Spork off the market, there will be much sighing in foraland.

I clicked thinking that this was a thread about Oprah ending her TV show.

Mrs?!?! Maybe she is Frau Dr. Goeffel?  Congrats, Spork!
