Does anyone have any info about the history department at Wesleyan U (in CT)? There are some pretty terrible things on the wiki "schools to fear" page about the place, and I'm wondering if those are sour grapes, or if they have a point.
Thank you.

I know somebody who got a Ph.D. in an art-related discipline there in 1999. And of course Tenured Radical teaches in the History Department there: http://tenured-radical.blogspot.com/

That's all I got.

Wesleyan University in Connecticut has very few graduate programs, and none of their grad programs is in Art or Art History, so I think there must be some confusion here.

OK, Goldenapple, so shoot me. I left off the s and meant to write "arts-related discipline." I guarantee that my friend does in fact have a Ph.D. from Zenith U (Tenured Radical's moniker for Wesleyan).
