Saw this while eating a sandwhich and checking out the local news.  Not a CHE article, just something I saw.  So the UC system is considering a $2500 fee increase (some 32%) to cover shortfalls.  Police in riot gear overseeing a student protest.  Good lord...  Cali is my home and I know the state is in bad shape....  But this just wowed me.  Not sure what we would discuss about this.  Just sharing.
