Hi

I am currently completing a European Research Council proposal for 'Early Investigators' and they are keen on data analysing the impact of my work. I've calculated my h-index and its 9-10 (depending on which citation database one believes, and I am not sure citations in books are accurately calculated). I'm in the social sciences, had my PhD for about seven years.

Basically I wonder if this is 'good' or 'bad' given where I am in my career? Having calculated for a few more senior colleagues it seems okay but to me its pretty underwhelming and perhaps it might be better to highlight my 3-4 most cited publications instead (which are considerably more cited than the others).

Any advice welcome....
