new replies to posts etc. missing

Suddenly when I log into the forums I no longer get a link to "new replies to posts" and to "unread posts". Rather I have to scroll through all the forum topics. Is this feature no longer part of the site or is it somehow no longer working for me? I looked on my profile and could not find any buttons to set for this option.

I never got a response to this and am wondering about others. Have others also lost the "replies to recent posts" and "unread posts" links that used to appear at the top of the forums? They disappeared suddenly on my browsers and have never come back. I find it much harder to search through the forums without those links.

I still have them, for what that's worth.

Thank you hegemony for responding. After poking around on my screen I found a very tiny + button and when I clicked it, they showed up again and the + is replaced by a minus.

Yes, you can expand or contract any section of the fora from the forum home page in that way.
However, you could also avoid the problem by setting your bookmark page to be the "recent unread topics" or "new replies" (responses to your posts) page.
