Darn. I thought this was "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" thread.

Dr. Anakin sits high and mightily in her office while she condemns students to lives of misery and drudgery, washing out their husbands' underwear in filthy water. In addition, she is a horrible teacher. She welcomes you to Introduction to Biology!

In Wales, yet! It's delicious. Or at least the stuff I had in Betwys-Y-Coed was.

In Wales, yet! It's delicious. Or at least the stuff I had in Betwys-Y-Coed was. My mom went through a phase of making it. I loved it. She also had a phase of making Yorkshire pudding which I also loved. None of the other kids knew what I was talking about when I mentioned these things so it made me feel like we ate exotic food.

Speaking of toast, the double fiber bread toasted, with Brummel & Brown spread and wildflower honey is lovely and sort of healthy.

Um, the original post? Oops. I thought I read at least the first few pages before skipping to the end. Middle age...

In order of munching preference for toasted items my top three would be: Hot and at least double toasted english crumpet with just enough salted butter for it to permeate through to the bottom. Homemade chewy crusty sourdough, toasted until golden and then smeared while warm with unsalted butter and a scraping of Marmite. Raisin toast allowed to cool slightly and then topped with cream cheese and a crowning layer of blackberry and apple jam.
Excuse me while I go and drain the saliva off my keyboard....

Do whole wheat English muffins count? English muffins should be toasted light brown with dark brown (almost burnt) edges. I still prefer dry toast, but thanks to this stupid diet I am adding stuff: poached egg, cheese, carrot jam or orange marmalade for breakfast; tuna, and/or avocado for lunch or a snack; and nutella for dessert.
Are you on the delicious toast diet?

Tonight, I made my toast into a roast beef sandwich. I never eat red meat but was feeling sorry for myself yesterday so bought two very thin slices from the best butcher in town. Toasted two slices of three-seed sourdough, added butter to one side and ranch dressing to the other. Added the roast beef slices.
Delish.

Are you on the delicious toast diet? No. The above are options. I have a habit of not eating enough carbs and protein, so having a muffin a day with stuff on it helps me meet the daily requirements.

The butcher sold you only two slices of roast beef? How much did they cost?
