Sit here and post to the Fora wondering why THREE test-taking students so far have come up to ask what I mean by a "ratio" of A/B.

(Though I suppose I should be counting my blessings; at least I'm not teaching a math class. Although in this intro science course, where I used the term A/B in my class on this topic, I would have HOPED that a few people might know what I was talking about, or at least have asked the question then.)

Sigh.....................

To me, forums are more of a relaxing period in which the poster can allow himself or himself to be lost in a sea of wonder.
