post-doc offer in Abu Dhabi

Hi all,
I finished PhD in Chemical Engg in Dec 2008 from a medium to low ranked school in the USA. I did post-doc in the same school for 6 months. Now i got a offer for post doc in Abu Dhabi in Material Science area. I did not receive the offer packet yet.
1.I am curious what are salaries like for post-docs in Abu Dhabi? Any insights? Are the perks that faculty hires get like housing, travel tickets and insurance provided to post-docs also?
2. Its a 2 year post doc position. I am not too passionate about teaching. What are my prospects of getting a Industry job after 2 years post doc ( I am applying for post-docs because of the poor industrial hiring climate now). Does it get worse because I did post-doc in a not so reputable Univ? After the post-doc stint I Intend to get a job in Dupont or Procter & Gamble (India).
3. I have to admit my only motivation to go to Abu Dhabi would be the money. I am citizen of India. Does anybody know about any laws against taking all your savings to your home country?
Thank you so much for reading. I hope to get good responses. If you need to ask anything please do so.
Regards
Kris

Hi Kris
I just completed my Ph.D in a related field, less than a year ago. I think as for postdocs, what really matters is whether you can get some good publication from your work. If you can do that, it does not matter that you did your postdoc in a less than reputable univ.
I don't think there can be laws against taking your savings to home country. Infact most of the people who work in middle east go there for money. If you are planning on going to India finally, I think Dubai is a good choice.
