...at least in my MLA field:  after I've sent out my applications, but before SCs have started reading them.  Nothing to do but wait, and maybe check the wiki twenty-eight times an hour.  (Of course, there's nothing nothing to report yet.) 

How do you cope?

Times are tough and jobs are few. Just strive hard and eventually it will result to something good. Start by building up your resume, do listen to job experts on the net 'coz they really give great advices. Before I got my present job now, I visited sites such as www.interviewmastermind.com (I forgot the other others just tell you later when I remember) and did follow the resume tips the site gave. Do check it out. I'm absolutely sure it'll help you.

See what happens when you don't follow my advice? Spambots start giving you job advice.
