Hello forumites,
I have a job interview (yeah!), the catch is it will be via iChat. Does anyone have experience doing this sort of thing? It will only be a 10 minute demonstration.
Thanks!

I did a skype interview not too long ago. Make sure you have a decent webcam, make sure it's set up and working, and practice using it several times. Make sure to position the camera so it's around eye level (rather than focused on your bald spot or nose hairs) and practice looking into it, so the SC sees you on-screen as if you're looking at them.
Do not use any of the distortion or color special effects. Trust me on this one.

I've done a Skype interview as well, and there was a fraction-of-a-second lag, which was difficult at first during the opening greeting segment, but not a problem at all during things like the research presentation. Just be aware of it, and you shouldn't have too much trouble adjusting.
My main advice: Find a comfortable seat. Because of where I ended up placing my laptop (so I'd have a studious-looking background) I needed a really low seat and thought it looked better with a backless chair, and after 90+ minutes in that position I had middle back pain for the next few days.
And test out the colors you plan to wear ahead of time--some combinations look a bit garish over a computer system.
