Forumites,

I have recently been appointed academic dean at my institution, and I am not sure how to integrate this new role into my cv. My first thought is to divide the section devoted to "Academic Employment" into two parts: "Teaching" and "Administration." Is this how others do it? Are there better alternatives out there? For the record, I am still teaching (reduced load) and see myself as a professor first, administrator second.

I list all of my experience together.  If admin work is what you want, then you may find that your jobs will slowly transform from exclusively teaching to admin and there won't be a clear break between the two.
