Not to mention the way they'll treat your Samsonite.

Not to mention the way they'll treat your Samsonite. I should think the weakness of working with gorillas is that long before they have a chance to kill you, you will be dead from the long climb into the rainforest to try to find them. Or the poachers killing gorillas will get you first.

Nah, that's just mountain gorillas. Lowland gorillas are a lot easier to find. And gorillas in general are more likely to just charge you and scare the hell out of you than kill you, various horror movies notwithstanding.

The author uses the poetic ego to express that he is fed up with the behavior of modern man, destined to live in a capitalist world without transcendence, which does nothing but affect him.
Dear cruel world: Please stop affecting me once in awhile. I need a break.

Regarding a poem which begins with the line "Tonight I can write the most sorrowful lines."
The reader is able to capture the negative attitude of the narrator due to his use of the word "can."
That whole "Yes we can!" campaign...obviously negative.

The gorillas like to watch horror movies? Why not? They like porn. Wait until about 1:20 or so in the video.

On Thursday, "I need to start narrowing down my topic." Student thens suggest sweepingly vague topic remarkably similar to sample paper handed out. Paper is due next Monday.
On a Friday, different student, "What paper is it again that is due on Monday?"
