Jesus, these d*****bags are at it again! And their latest ad is even more insidious than the one which started this thread. It claims to be giving out  'Academic Writing Fellowships 2010', and lists these as 'full-time three-month (renewable) fellowship(s)', while referring tantalisingly to a 'bursaries scheme'.

It's only in the very last line that you learn that this esteemed institution (described elsewhere in the ad as 'the UK’s leading academic research company'), provides 'a range of academic, commercial, and career services for international and UK students'.

Ugh. Someone who knows how the academic machine (& the minds of desperate early-career academics out of a job) works is behind this.

This is beyond "cheeky." These people are crooks.

Now, I'm probably jealous because I don't have a Sorbon degree.

What's wrong with these people ? I mean, is there that much cash to be made with that kind of fraud ? Why don't they sell pills that enlarge manhood instead ?

But if you qualify for one of those Sorbon degrees, you could easily get one of those Oxbridge jobs.

And then you could afford the online prices for the pills that...

Never mind...

I'm curious about the person who wrote the article about writing the essay; I wonder if he would be the type to put the things through Turnitin anyway...?

One can always hope.
