Faculty Review feedback

I have been asked for feedback for a faculty member who is up for review. It is a non tenure track position and since I am not a prof my feedback would be in regards to knowledge of service on a committee where we were both members. My office is also quite near this professor so I am also aware of this person's demeanor in interactions with students, and I know this person is well liked by students etc. Should I make comments on the latter, or stick to things related to committee service? I admire this person and I want to strongly word my support and I would appreciate suggestions of the type of feedback related to service that a review committee would be interested in hearing. This person stepped up and did more than one person's share of the work for this committee but from comments around here that make service seem like the least important thing to devote time to, would commenting on this be considered as more of a negative than a positive?
Another question, the memo for this was titled "Possible Renewal of Contract." The inclusion of 'possible' seems odd to me. Is this person's renewal in jeopardy or is this standard wording for such things? I have to go to the office now but I'll check back tonight for responses. Any advice on the feedback I should be providing would be appreciated. Thanks.

"That's a great deal to make one word mean," Alice said in a thoughtful tone.
"When I make a word do a lot of work like that," said Humpty Dumpty, "I always pay it extra."
