indefinite leave to remain to citizenship?
«

After jumping through lots of visa hoops the past few years and attaining my Indefinite Leave to Remain visa, I am now eligible for citizenship. (I'm American and therefore can have two passports). Though I've read the Home Office's website and taken a look at the application, I was wondering if any of the forumnites had any advice about the application process that doesn't appear on the official literature. (I think expatinuk has recently put in an application for instance). It seems remarkably straightforward (albeit expensive). Any thoughts?
Many thanks.

UK Yankee is the place to go. They have a lot of expertise.

Sorry, Buglet
I did this many years ago but it's all changed. I suspect that's the case for us all unless anyone is currently in the process.
