In addition to some unpleasantness recently, many of us also get in bad moods or have a rough day, so I'd like someplace for us to go for some good cheer.  Please post jokes, silliness or just warm wishes for those who need it.

<Or just ignore me if this is a horrible idea>

And here we have my kitten (if I weren't allergic):

And for my fellow science geeks:

This is a great idea.  I think that many need cheering up.

I have posted (mostly silly things) like crazy today becuase I was in a bad mood.  I am careful (or try to be careful) that my posts are not offensive.

Grumpy animals always cheer me up!

This may be my all-time favorite: http://icanhascheezburger.com/2009/04/05/funny-pictures-got-my-grump-on/

I find cakewrecks to be absolutely hysterical.
Some of the fan favorites on the right are laugh out loud.

I forgot about the cakewrecks.  They are fantastic.

This one isn't really funny, just sweet:  http://ihasahotdog.com/upcoming/?pid=24667

I find something very moving in this off-beat new silent film of a father and son doing a trick, but all the artist's videos are good:  http://scher.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/06/12/the-jacobsons/

Dr_E, this thread is exactly what I needed today. Thank you.

I battled a bout of the blues (heh) with this lol. I literally laughed - really laughed - for ten minutes. My officemates were a bit taken aback.

This one helped me crack a smile after a stressful today.

On preview: I'll set off in search of other funnies that aren't kittehs.

TZ, that first one cracked me up.  It's now on my favorites.

For some that aren't kittehs:
