I love having a window in my (shared) office in Winter. Unfortunately we have 'security issues', so all ground floor windows are:
i. half-barred.
ii. don't open.
Particularly joyous with the lack of air conditioning.

Me too. Though there was some rain this morning. Mercifully the temperature has dropped: there are few things worse than 200+ radiating bodies in a exam hall with the sun streaming in through the glass roof. Except maybe 300+ radiating bodies, like we had on Monday when it was particularly warm and sunny! |

You have forgotten the part about the endless planning of car journeys... which route to take to avoid the traffic. And I don't mean LONG journeys... I'm talking about a drive to Tesco for a loaf of bread! |
