You could do worse for an addiction. At least a forum addiction won't hurt your liver or your lungs or your cholesterol levels. It can hurt your productivity though if you are not careful to balance Paralysis Analysis with other threads.
A forum addiction can lead to other dangerous addictions like donut addictions though. We have lost quite a few to that one. One taste of that sugary, airy deliciousnes and we lose them down the virtual donut hole - never to be heard from again. I do worry about a couple of current posters in that regard.
