We never played them in my GT classes, but I was still able to make an 800 w/little practice, so I'm a bit biased ;)
And what year was this that you had a perfect SAT score? Perfect SAT scores used to be extraordinarily rare. Now you hear about people getting perfect scores on the SAT all of the time.
Read the post before that. Perfect score on the old analytical section of the GRE. I took the SAT before they changed the scale, so no way was it even close to that, lol!
Back in '96, when it was still pencil and paper, I got an 800 on the verbal section of the GRE (not like you can tell from my posts, but I used to be literate). It was definitely possible back then. I don't know if it measures intelligence, though. I was so stupid that I had to call ETS in order to read my score. I was arguing on the phone with the customer service rep, "So, wait... if
that column is my score, then why does it say '800'?" "Um, hon? Just a guess? Maybe because you got all the questions right?"
