We are now developing ways for the cats to get all, or at least most, of the way around the living room without touching the floor.
We're doing that too! Jackson would be so proud of us, Geoteo! And I see My Cat From Hell as mostly being about "cat guardians" (Jackson's term) from hell. The cat misbehavior is always an understandable reaction to the bizarre activities of the clueless humans with whom they live. As soon as Jackson gets the humans to straighten up and act right, the cats do, too.

One kitty still in carrier, submitting to being petted as he waits to see if this place is more zombies, vampires, or killer robots.
Other kitty has taken up residence under the futon.

We're doing that too! Jackson would be so proud of us, Geoteo! That reminds me of The Cats' House. I've wanted to do this to my house ever since reading the first book.

We were in a house yesterday that wasn't set up with cats in mind, but it may as well have been! We could see our cats all over the rafters, if they had the chance.

There will be pictures as soon as we get past the four glowy eyes in the darkness under the loveseat phase.
There was exploration and meowing and a certain amount of knocking down small objects last night. Girl kitty has already mastered the look that says that she is innocence itself and gravity is solely to blame for any minor catastrophes that may befall.

More yay for Malcha, and more excited anticipation of kittypics. I'm glad they've arrived, are exploring, and are already establishing personalities/alibis.

ZombiCat would like the Malchakitties to know that while hiding under the bed (or loveseat) is a pretty rad way to settle in to a new home, lounging ON the bed (or loveseat, but really, the bed) is the raddest of all. Make sure to lounge spreadeagle, limbs akimbo, and make your person arrange herself around you.

Congrats Malcha!
Scatkitty would like to add to the advice by recommending that both kitties be scoping out potential hidey holes for all the interesting things they are about to discover/claim/liberate from human oppression.
Scatcat's only comment was, "Two at once?!?........but.......why?"
