Thats really all you want to know from them anyway.
I'd disagree on the that's all we want to know. There's a lot of people I like, but I wouldn't hire them as professors in our major, even though they have a degree in our major.
As far as the visual aids question goes - which made me think, I did alter it a bit, based upon the comments that were submitted. It now reads as, "The presentation (slides, video, etc.) enhanced my understanding of the topic."
All of these will be scored on 5-point scale. And if any of the students do come to the research presentations, they will be asked for for further comments.
