Few of us are paid to do anything really interesting.
Um, I get paid to read, listen to music and watch movies, among other things like attending asinine meetings.

Which is the interesting part? Or are you just offering comfirmation?

As a musician, I play a lot of music at home just for the enjoyment of it, but I make a distinction between my grown-up work (brass, conducting) and fun music (mandolin, dulcimer, etc.).
I really want to get my family settled on some land somewhere so I can go back to growing a garden and doing something productive outside.

I quilt---not much lately but that is one thing I do fairly well.
Basically, I'll do anything involving textiles.
I quilt too! I'm glad to see someone does this besides me and my mamaw. I get strange looks when I tell people that I quilt as dissertation-stress relief.

The fact that you used the word mamaw says a lot about you and where you're from. It's all good.
