If you people would just stop interrupting, Concerned_Parent could finish the post with "...for now because I have to run some errands and get lunch.  I'll be back once I get a little bit done on my to-do list by reading through this big pile of applications to choose the short list, who will come give teaching demonstrations next month."

Sheesh, you people are so impatient.  Isn't the rule that one must wait until a student answers before moving on to the next part of the lecture?  What kind of teachers are you, anyway?

Sheesh, you people are so impatient.

I believe this was established long ago.

Oooh, this is a heavenly combination.

This thread improves me every time I look at it.  My classroom, however, is the same as it ever was.

Of course, it had to be established at once.  Otherwise we'd have gotten impatient.

Unfortunately, I think conjugate gives good advice.

Have you tried negative motivation techniques and some laptops?

Hey, Unforgetful!  Where are you?  I thought you might like to take up C_P's cause...

Oh wait...

Methinks I'm buying some more Raisinets and taking them over to threads with Unforgetful.

Again, as I've said elsewhere, I could be wrong (and apologies to Unforgetful if I am).

I am not longer interested in responding to my post; I am wised up now. You can go one on one via email if you wish.

G, CF!

Happy Holidays, C_P.  Not sure whom I'm supposed to be fighting via email, but that's no fun.  We need the cage of the fora to make it a spectator sport; a pummeling in the dark alley behind Paddy's Pub just doesn't isn't going to do it.

Sorry bacardiandlime...the thread now is dead.
