"C'mon punk.  Make my semester."

Why, yes, I am feeling lucky.  That's why I know that I'll get an A for effort.

I don't think that feeling means "lucky". Perhaps it's indigestion? Too much turducken?

It could be very interesting to attend a lecture of one of the lucky professor.

I must say that students should work harder to go to Harvard; the rest could be unwanted students.

Was it turducken they were serving at Katz's?

Are you saying that I'm not in touch with my feelings? I'm sure that's a lucky feeling.  It's exactly the way I felt before taking my oral exams for my master's degree, which I passed with flying colors.

Oh, and then I went home and had my husband say, "What do you mean you had this roast for breakfast?  It's been in here for a month.  I just keep forgetting to get it out to the curb on garbage day".

Maybe it is too much turducken.

Less talk of turducken, more zombie killing!

<DE runs back to the Dungeon to work on the latest zombie-killing creation>  I leave you with a campy zombie-killing video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-yPwXTgFns&feature=related

I'd like to thank all y'all for 30 of the best minutes of this semester. This excursion down the rabbit hole has been enlightening (really, I am not kidding) at one level, and then incredibly amusing at the next. It reads like having a political argument with a crazy family member, like a grandparent: "Obama is a muslim commie." Why do you believe that, mom/gramps/uncle joe? "Because it says so on Fox News. And he wants to bail out all the bankers." Uhh, but you said he's a commie. "Yes! He's a commie muslin[sic] bank lover who wants to take your money and give it to rich people." Lather, rinse, repeat.

The problem, frankly, is that I still have absolutely no idea whatsoever what the OP was trying to ask. And nine pages or whatever of this failed to bring me any closer to enlightenment. But it was a hell of a ride!

How about if we kill turducken zombies?  That sounds like strange fun.

Unfortunately, I think conjugate gives good advice.

How did I miss this beautiful thread?  That's what I get for actually doing work.  Poor, poor Concerned Parent.

By the way, if you want to know about killing zombies, I bet I can make a phone call and get you a term paper that might help....

No, I need to contact the instructor to find out.  Maybe that will be my procrastination for the morning.  Will update.

I am respectful to the CP for posting it and clarifying/reinforcing several surrounding issues for me (speaking for myself!). Thanks for being such a sport to difficult questions/responses.

As a suggestion, as you understand the broad subject area/issues by posting such a general question, you may want to post more specific concerns/issues that may pertain to you or of general interest (for the wider audience).

To all the negative thinkers:
I learnt so much by my posts that I could not have got it from the books on the subject. You are using negative motivation for me to learn quickly. Thanks!

To all the sincere posts:

You are the best teachers. You see beyond what is obvious and you are very creative people. Thanks!
