1.5% -- that's quite a cut.

I have a tracker at just below base rate, so my mortgage goes down next month by a lot.  I never imagined I'd be paying less than 3% on my mortgage.  The intro deal ends in March, but even when it kicks up, it will be only 0.99% above base rate.  A few months ago I was thinking I would have to remortgage soon, but I'm guessing the intro rates on the new tracker deals will be higher than what I'll pay by staying with my current deal.

Anyone else happy?  Anyone gnashing teeth over their fixed rate?

Mine will be paid off in 6 months so not fussed either way.

Glad the cuts will help you!

We decided to pay ours off in March when it comes up for renewal. Yes, I do have a tracker mortgage, but with savings now earning so little we decided that we'd be better off paying off the mortgage and then putting the mortgage payment into cash ISA and pensions.
