In a post called "The University as Wal-Mart" on the ISI Forums, we find this:

They’re discovering that students, presented with literature classes that degrade the great texts assigned into cheap political pamphlets—hold on here, a big surprise is coming—blow them off and major in business, or marketing. Spurred by this student revolt, these professors are rediscovering the reasons that they themselves started reading the Great Books, so many years ago."

Both are slightly more common than the Easter Bunny, but less ubiquitous than Santa Claus.

The ISI used to be an interesting place for varieties of conservative thought, before the Horowitzation of the right. It is something of a metaphor for the whole conservative movement, trapped in a culture war of twenty years ago.

I am altogether quite certain I have never claimed to be any of the above.  At least not around here.  I do try to be nice to my students though.

You asked for comments on a stale 4 year old post from the website of a right wing think tank, that you copied and pasted verbatim.  If you are surprised by the comments, then you are either completely clueless or disingenuous, or a snowflake undergraduate.
