What's with the abbreviations? PCOS? EMDR? You will obviously get your answers from people familiar with the condition, but you are denying the rest of us a learning opportunity. The first rule of using abbreviations in writing is to define your abbreviations. How about it, folks?

I confess I only know EMDR by its acronym. However, I don't mind acronyms, as they often pique my curiosity.
