Vegetarian Times. And I'm thinking about resubscribing to either Movie Line or Premier.

Bead Style. I don't have my act together enough to do any crafting lately, but I enjoy looking at the pictures and fantasizing. I used to take the New Yorker, but I didn't keep up with it and it just added clutter.
Bead Style is also one of my favs! I also like Wire Jewelry and Art Jewelry. Most of the items in Art Jewelry are out of my league though. My few attempts at soldering left me with large lumps of sterling silver that resembled.. well, large lumps. We also get Wired, Figure, and husband gets his guitar and sports collectibles magazines. I occasionally pick-up a copy of More.

The Walrus. A Canadian magazine that's kind of like a cross between the New Yorker and Atlantic Monthly.

Okay, this is embarrassing, but...we currently receive:
Smithsonian Astronomy ESPN The Magazine Sports Illustrated Golf Mag Golf Digest Golf for Women Bon Appetit The Advocate Out Out Traveler AARP The Magazine Sierra Magazine Nature Conservancy Magazine Some magazine our insurance company sends us.
Of all of these, we only pay for Astronomy and AARP. The rest were gifts/gratis. I'm sorry to say that I only add to the destruction of trees in the world by buying Running Times, Runner's World, and Sky & Telescope off the newstand every month. Also the occasional Modern Drummer, Drum Magazine, and guitar mag. No wonder I'm not very productive on weekends.

I wonder why people feel guilty for subscribing to Entertainment Weekly. I'm an unapologetic subscriber. It doesn't cover high art or academic books, but its reviews of popular culture are pretty smart, and it does cover independent releases. Also it has a book review section, which places it above most newspapers these days. And where else am I going to get the latest on Hellboy II?

National Geographic, hands down. I will occasionally buy issues of Consumer Reports, as it often has nifty tips and advice.

My SO got this one as a gift last year. Yeah, I gotta say, I wasn't convinced, but it isn't bad!

Soldier of Fortune Spork, that was really funny. Hope you're kidding. Wow, you guys are all so *serious*. I like most of the magazines mentioned, though I don't subscribe to them. I have a lifelong subscription to Vogue because I LOOOOVE clothes. I also get Glamour, which is fun and less hoity-toity (and the do's/don't's section is a must-see). I have a few other periodicals, and pick up the occasional decorating magazine and other fashion magazines. Doesn't anyone here like fashion? (I mean, I know there's probably a fair amount of indifference among this demographic, but still...) Most of the serious article-reading I do is on the internet.
