If you want to get a t-t and you don't have much teaching experience get the adjunct position.

Otherwise (don't want t-t, or want but have heaps of experience) do the admin job.

Unless you love teaching or something, but I suppose then it would eb a no brainer

I started as a lowly administrator at a state university and ended up as University Registrar and Director of Institutional Research. The financial rewards and experience of administration helped me to complete my Phd. I taught at least one course in my field each year (fequently two or three) from my third to 15th year. I found being in the classroom to be very rewarding.
I now am teaching full time as an instructor at a major private university and have my own consulting company. I was offered a tt job, but turned it down. After having been at the administrative level of a dean, there was no way I could subject myself to the demeaning tenure struggle. Many of the newly tenured faculty are younger and have less experience than I do. Now I am respected for my teaching ability and for bringing my consulting expreiences into the classroom.
